Four Days of Dunkirk 2027: dates and where to stay in Malo-les-Bains
The Hauts-de-France stage race is traditionally held in mid-May. Our two apartments are in Malo-les-Bains, a minute from the seafront and ten minutes from central Dunkirk.
When is the Four Days of Dunkirk in 2027?
The race is traditionally held in May, just after the northern classics. The 2026 edition, the 70th, ran from 20 to 24 May. The exact 2027 dates have not yet been published by the organisers, but mid-May remains the window to book.
Despite the name, the race now has five stages. Since 2025 it is preceded the day before by the Classique Dunkerque, a one-day race starting in Dunkirk.
A free event, at the roadside
Road cycling is watched for free: you simply find a spot on the route. A stage start or finish in Dunkirk turns the town centre and the seafront into a festival, with the caravan, the entertainment and the atmosphere of the peloton.
From Malo-les-Bains you are well placed for the coastal sections, and ten minutes from central Dunkirk for the starts. The DK'Bus network is free, which saves hunting for parking near the closed-off zones.
A good time to come
May is one of the best moments to discover Malo-les-Bains: the days are long, the seafront is lively without being packed, and prices are nowhere near July and August levels.
It is also when water sports restart at the Licorne base, and when the terraces properly reopen on the seafront and place Turenne.
Loucé and Adélise, 37 rue de la Colline
May is a quieter time in Malo, which leaves availability even for late bookings. Loucé and Adélise are a minute from the seafront, with free unrestricted street parking, a real comfort on race days.
The 2027 dates are not yet official. The 2026 edition ran from 20 to 24 May. Check the organisers' site for the final calendar and stage routes.
