La Bonne Aventure 2027: three days of free festival on the seafront
From 18 to 20 June 2027, the tenth edition of this free festival takes over the Malo-les-Bains seafront. Our two apartments are a minute's walk from the Front de Mer stage.
La Bonne Aventure 2027: 18, 19 and 20 June
The organisers have confirmed the dates of the tenth edition: 18, 19 and 20 June 2027, in Dunkirk and on the Malo-les-Bains seafront. The festival is entirely free, as it has been since it started in 2017.
Three days of concerts, art installations, sound walks and trails across the town, with a line-up mixing headliners and discoveries. The Front de Mer stage sits directly on the promenade.
Why sleeping on site changes everything
The festival draws a bigger crowd every year and the seafront is saturated for three days. Nearby car parks fill early, and bikes or public transport become the only sensible option for anyone coming from a distance.
From 37 rue de la Colline you are a minute's walk from the Front de Mer stage. You go home when you want, come back out after a nap, and never look for a parking space. Street parking is free with no time limit, which is rare this close to the seafront.
Fête de la musique and the start of the season
La Bonne Aventure traditionally falls around the summer solstice, at the same time as the Fête de la musique in Dunkirk. The terraces on the seafront, the bars on place Turenne and the restaurants nearby all run at full tilt.
It is also when the seaside season properly begins in Malo: the beach is usable, water sports at the Licorne base have restarted, and the days are the longest of the year.
Loucé and Adélise, 37 rue de la Colline
Three days of festival, one real difficulty: getting home to bed. Loucé and Adélise are a minute from the seafront, with free street parking and self check-in by key box from 5pm.
The dates of 18 to 20 June 2027 are announced by the festival organisers. The detailed line-up is published in spring on the official site.
